Biography
A. Sreekar Prasad is an Indian film editor with a career spanning more than 35 years and work across Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Assamese cinema.
He has edited more than 600 films and is a recipient of nine National Film Awards, including seven awards for Best Editing. He has also received several state and industry honours.
His body of work includes Yodha, Vanaprastham, Alaipayuthey, Dil Chahta Hai, Kannathil Muthamittal, Firaaq, Kaminey, Pazhassi Raja, Talvar, RRR, Ponniyin Selvan: I, and The Goat Life.
His career represents an exceptional breadth of editorial practice across languages, genres, and generations of Indian cinema.
